Glucosamine (as sulfate and hydrochloride)
A natural compound found in healthy cartilage, it acts as a precursor in the production of proteoglycans in the cartilage matrix and synovial fluid. When ingested, it is especially helpful in managing joint pain and inflammation. It also supports the regeneration of connective tissue and is essential in the biosynthesis of several glycoproteins, glycolipids, and glycosaminoglycans (mucopolysaccharides). It works synergistically with chondroitin.

Chondroitin (as sulfate)
A key component of proteoglycans, it is a building block of cartilage. It works synergistically with glucosamine to support the regeneration of connective tissue. This compound reduces both joint swelling and the activity of destructive enzymes within the joints. It may also reduce certain biomarkers of inflammation in the synovial fluid.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA)
A major component of synovial fluid and joint cartilage. It enhances the lubrication of soft tissues within the joint and increases the viscosity of joint fluid, while also reducing inflammation by neutralizing free radicals. Supplementing with HA can encourage the body to produce more of its own beneficial endogenous HA.

MSM (Methy|sulfony|methane)
Provides sulfur in a bioavailable form, an essential element needed for the synthesis of collagen, glucosamine, and chondroitin-all key components of cartilage. MSM may also help reduce pain and inflammation. The sulfur it delivers is also used in the synthesis of important proteins and complex sugars.

Bovine collagen Peptides
A source of L-hydroxyproline, a key amino acid that helps rebuild new collagen fibers, which support joint stability.

L-Lysine
